How It All Began…

My love for lettering and personalization began long before it became my business — it started with family, travel and the yearn to make something beautiful and unique.

Growing up, trips to Durango, Mexico to visit my mom’s family were filled with color, warmth and creativity. I was endlessly drawn to the souvenir shop where we would engrave names onto carefully selected keepsakes for loved ones back home. A small token to say “we’re thinking of you.” Watching something ordinary become meaningful through personalization stayed with me long after the trips ended. The smell of the leather being burned, with a cousin or friend’s name, is “engraved” in my nose.

Back home, that love for lettering found a new outlet. In high school, I became the person classmates came to for handwritten excuse notes — carefully crafted, convincingly signed, and styled to look just like their mom or dad’s signature. What started as a favor quickly became an early lesson in how handwriting carries credibility and significance. A few strokes of a pen could tell a story…or at least get someone to miss 9th period.

Today, that same passion lives on through my work. From engraved wine bottles and luggage tags to calligraphy and live, on-site engraving experiences, every piece I create is rooted in intention, craftsmanship, and the belief that personalization turns a simple everyday object into a “1 of 1” gift. Whether I’m engraving a keepsake at an event or creating a custom piece for a milestone moment, my goal is always the same: to make something feel truly meant for the person receiving it.

Because names matter. Details matter. And the smallest personal touch often leaves the biggest impression.
